!! JJ's First Birthday Party !!

What can I say....

Life is good. I am almost 1. Can you believe it? I know right. Okay, Momma is getting a little carried away but can you blame her? She waited 8 years for me and my first year has been a blur. I am glad she did this blog because going back and reading some of the posts have been really funny. Let's see what I am up to these days. I am BUSY! I can't be still because I figured out that when I get still I will fall asleep. I don't like my high chair, unless I can sit in it without the tray and then I am happy to sit in it and eat breakfast while watching Sid the Science Kid. BTW, best show ever! I like eggs, oggurt as I call yogurt, all kinds of vegetables and fruits, chicken, McDonald's hamburgers, well just food in general. I do NOT like anything that comes out of a jar, would you with all of the awesome cooks around here? I have found Momma's iPhone and she put a game on it called peekaboo barn that I really enjoy. I touch it and the barn opens and the animals make their noises and a little girl tells me what animal it is. I like this a lot. Especially the duck. I bark at it. Momma says that sound goes with the dog but I like to smile and bark louder at it. I LOVE TAYLOR SWIFT. I can be in the middle of a meltdown and she will come on the radio and I just stop. Mid cry and all. I am always on the move. There is so much to learn and do in my world. I can't miss anything. Today Momma let me put a diaper in the diaper champ and it did magic. I put it in there and turned it over and it disappeared. Momma didn't think this to be a bad thing until she caught me on the way back from the laundry room with a small cup heading back to do more magic. She then realized that she will have to be a little more careful when teaching me new things. Let's see what I can do. I am 11 months 3 weeks and 1 day today. I weigh a whopping 29 lbs and am 32 inches long. I have 6 teeth, four on top and two on bottom, working on one on the bottom left now. I can walk, run, dance like nobodies business, open and close drawers and cabinets, I like to play in the toilet. Ummm.....put things in and out of other things. Still LOVE my baths and my binkie. Oh, I love to be read to. Anything and everything and if it has a picture of a baby in it that is better. My reading list this week is Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see? and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. I am not picky but i like to hear Erika read it to me best. I say her name but it sounds like ehhkha. I have gotten very stingy with my sugar but I will give you a razz-berry on your tummy if you are laying in the floor. And if you stand still to long I may pull out your shirt and look up it. I am a mess. I love my Papa and my Grandaddy, they ride me on the tractors. It is great! Totally relaxes me. My Nana and Gammie love me so much. My Momma still can't believe what a blessing God gave to her. I do love my Papa's fried fish. Just like my Momma and Daddy. None of that corn mealed stuff though, just like my Momma. :)

10 Month Old

I turned 10 months old on Thursday and guess what!  Today is Sunday and I took 6 steps by myself!  Momma has had her hands full with me lately so I will catch you up as best as I can.  Let's see..... I have 5 teeth now, two on bottom and three on top, I can sit, stand, crawl like lightning and I love to play in the bathtub!  I like all and any water, climbing over Daddy, and going for walks in my stroller.  We are fixing to move in with Gammie while Momma and Daddy build me a new house across the road from them in the pasture!  I can't wait to play in my new yard.  I like to watch the Odenville Saints practice football.  I get all excited every time we go to watch them play.  I can say: Da da, Ma ma, dog, hey, good, baby, gran da, papa, nana, mi mi, and ubb boo which Momma says is love you because I only say it after I give a big sloppy sugar.  I have learned to click my tongue, and throw sugar which is just me smacking my lips together and then giving my cheesy grin.  I weight 24 lbs and am 29 inches long and am very busy.  I like to look at and touch everything especially electrical chords.  I pulled a lamp down the other day and thought that was very funny.  Momma has several things to post for everyone to view but with her new job and packing and chasing me she hasn't had much time.  Oh, and I am getting a brand new Aunt!!!  Her name is Kristy and she is very pretty and I like her very much.  Momma says she is a good match to our family because you don't just marry a person you marry their family too.  She is tall and pretty and studying to be a physical therapist which I'm sure will come in handy soon with the way I dive head first over Daddy.  Momma says I'm a blessing, Nana and Mi Mi say they don't know how we got a long without me for so long and I am the apple of my Daddy, Papa, and Grandaddy's eye.  I'm gonna eat my first catfish for Labor day, I can't wait.

9 almost 10 month pictures

Ok so we LOVE MEG LOWRY! Momma says that this was the best time that she had making pictures with me. I had fun too. I got to crawl around in the grass and climb on a table and Grangraddy called the cows up for me to look at too. Peek-a-boo

Momma has a new toy. She won't let me play with it. It is an iFlip video camera she got for her birthday. It will be a helpful tool so that she can send videos of all the cute things I do. I am getting a new tooth. It is hurting me badly today so pray for me. Once this one comes in I will have 3 teeth. Two on bottom and one on top. I think I may finally crawl this week so stay tuned....

VBS! It really was the best!

I had so much fun with Mrs. Peggy and Mrs. Alicia. We played and had snack and walked around each night. Sometimes I cried so loudly that Momma came and got me so that I wouldn't disturb the classes next to the nursery. I have learned how to wag the dog as Momma says. Humm!?!

Well I have figured out how to fool momma. It sure didn't take long. Twice now she has come into wake me up and I have been standing holding on to the rail. This is perplexing her as I haven't crawled forward yet. I haven't' gone from laying to a sitting position but I will stand up from a sitting position with something to grab on. It is just funny seeing her get all excited. I can stand by the couch without anyone holding onto me. This is very fun because I usually find fun stuff on the couch. I have out grown my punkin seat. I'm glad to. I like my new car seat. I have plenty of room in it. Momma has some new pictures of me in the pool. I like that big bath tub and get so mad every time she takes me out and we have to go home. But sometimes she puts me in the bathtub at home and I get to play for a few more minutes. I am going to go to Florida this weekend. I am glad that my Uncle Chase came up to help Momma with me and traveling. I can't wait. Wish Daddy could come but I am glad he is doing the Judgement house at home. We have been praying at night that a lot of lives are changed and that souls are won to Jesus. I like it when Momma prays with me at night. She thought I was asleep for a long time but has realized that I have been smiling and opening my eyes when she does the who loves JJ and prayers at night. I like it because she kisses me a lot and her hair tickles my face. I love my momma but am having a great time hanging out with my daddy this summer. He is fun and on the run! Got to go for now. !!Finally!!

I finally got my first tooth and then two days later got another one! Wow did it hurt. Momma didn't realize it had broke through, because she said I am always such a good boy, until I bit her shoulder and she said OW! I thought it was funny but my mouth still hurt so she gave me a lemon to chew on and that made me feel much better. She has been trying to get a good picture of my teeth for over a week now but I was being coy. I made her work really hard for it. I also started to crawl on the Saturday before Mother's Day. She was so happy! I think I may be doing something wrong though, I keep going away from what I want instead of to it. Momma says I am going backwards but what is that?!? Oh well, maybe things will get worked out in the next few days.

I lovethis! Gammie puts ice pops and Momma keeps saying she is going to put a cookie in it but she hasn't so far. I get to feed myself and I get really mad when they try and take it away from me. It feels so good on my gums! I can't wait to see what they give me next! Come on teeth!

Wow how time flies!

It seems like just yesterday I got here in this new world where everyone looks so strange and all of the new sights and smells and wow it was loud. Now I know that it was just my Momma telling me she loves me and Daddy learning to cook and Sissy is my puppy...I love her so much. She lets me pet her and pull her ears and sometime Momma will let her give me sugar on my hand. I think she wants to give me sugar on my mouth. He he...but now I'm getting bigger and stronger and I can sit up by myself and if I could balance a little better I think I could stand up. I can roll over from front to back and from back to front. I talk to my Momma and Daddy and tell them what me and Gammie did each day. I have a blog and I oovoo my Nana and Papa each week so that I can see them and tell them how much I love and miss them. I learned yesterday how to spit and humm at the same time which is fun when someone is feeding me. I am just a ball of wonder. My Momma says I'm pretty but I'm trying not to let that go to my head!!! I am happy I am here, and I think a few people are too. ;)

My First Easter Egg Hunt!

Wow! What can I say. I got up Saturday morning and Momma took me outside and all I saw was pretty colors in our grass. Momma laid a blanket out so that I could watch everyone as they hunted for eggs. I had the best time giggling and smiling at everyone. This is also the first time Momma caught me sitting up by myself with the camera in her hand. Good job Momma.

I got a new Attitude!

Just a Swingin'

I found something I love as much as tractors! It's the swing at Aunt Kathy's house! Now if we could just get it to be a summer day then I could swing all day long!

Have you heard how much I love tractors. I love the way they sound and the way they ride around in the field. I love doing "Guy" stuff like that! Who is this Ol Mac Donald? I wonder if he had a tractor and why doesn't Momma sing about his tractor?

All BOY Part II

Well I finally got my hands on Pappa's John Deere! I had the best time. Nana was worried about it being to loud but as you can see I liked it when Pappa cranked it up. We rode around the yard and in the field for a while and then I tried to drive it and Pappa said that I could but not today.....I wonder when? Wow driving tractors is so hard. I was so tired when I got in that I ate my peas and took a nap!

Our Real American Soldier!

This is my Uncle Chase. He is in the National Guard as a guy who makes the other soldiers feel better. I love my Uncle Chase and miss him very much. My Momma and Daddy are so very proud of how well Uncle Chase has done in school. Keep up the good work! See you soon.

Cousins!?!

Who are these girls that are wanting to hold and love on me all of the time. I sure like there pretty hair. I wish I could figure out how to get "Vannah's glasses in my mouth. Erika sure is funny! She makes me laugh all of the time. I like it when they play with me on the floor and make funny noises. "Vannah give good sugar too. Brooke and her friends come by to play with me too. She is so fun and loud...she makes me jump all over because I get so excited.

I am all Boy!

Momma keeps saying that I am all boy but I didn't really know what that meant, until I found Granddaddy's truck. It is big and loud and I love to drive it. I squeal every time I hear him coming up to eat lunch with me.....now to get my hands on Papa's John Deere Tractor!

What is up with This????

It was soooo cold Sunday and Momma wanted to go outside and play. What's up with that? It was cold and there was this stuff everywhere. She kept asking me if I saw the snow, and I did but I didn't like to be so cold so I kinda wanted to go into the house. So I made my sad face and Momma took me back in.

Nanny Banks, but these are the folks that has waited a long time for Momma and Daddy
to have me.....I figure i'm worth the wait though. ;)

I am being so good for my momma and daddy. I have started eating the food that my Gammie and momma make. I like it better than the stuff they buy at walmart. I like Gammies carrots better than momma's green beans though. Don't tell Momma. I have started reaching out for you to pick me up. I like it when I flirt a little bit with Momma and she goes nuts and wants to kiss all over me. I laugh really loud and she likes that. Me and Momma are going to have our first date tonight. Daddy is going to the wild game dinner in Gardendale so me and Momma are going to go home and OOVOO with Nana and Papa and have dinner and go to bed. I love you all.
